that Santa had gobbled up the cookies and his hungry Reindeer left behind only a small nub of carrot (see picture right). Once she got over that, it was more wide eye's when she saw the stockings hanging from the fireplace filled with goodies. As she pulled each little gift from the stocking it was fun to watch her smile and announce each gift. Then it was on to the christmas tree, where more gifts awaited. Some even from the mysterious Santa...
because she would be playing with her first gift! She received ,amy great gifts like puzzles, playdough ice cream maker, a keyboard with microphone, a small boom box for her room and plenty other things. The Shortsleeve family received a very cool gift from Santa as well: Wii Fit (see picture right)! We spent the better part of the day learning to use the balance board and getting in shape!
Baby Adrian also enjoyed his first Christmas. He recieved many useful gifts as well such as clothes, and his first teddy bear! We also received Baby's First Christmas ornaments from both Grandparents, which was really cool.
Sofia and Mom spent the better part of Christmas Eve day baking cookies and frosting each one.
Sofia even wore her Chef's uniform, which was beyond cute! I recieved various text messages from Mom throughout the day of her frosting the cookies and eating more sprinkles then she actually put on them! We spent Christmas Eve with Vanessa's family enjoying tamales and all sorts of minin desserts! It was great to get the entire family together and spend a few hours together.
We also were shocked and surprised a few weeks ago with a small snow storm in the valley. The entire city of Las Vegas was blanketed with snow and it was amazing to watch! We were out and about all day and got to finally enjoy a little time outside with Eddie, Sofia, LB and Pete when we got home. Sofia was making little snowballs and LB chased them after she threw them. Pete was pretty excited too as he just ran around the yard in the snow. The next morning was a beautiful sight as the mountain ranges surrounding the valley were covered with white "fluff" and shimmering in the sunlight. It was amazing to say the least!

Enjoying the Snow in our backyard!
Thats all for now! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to ALL!!!!!!
