So let's get started.....
They finally finished with some of the stuff we were having done around the house. There is a new coat of paint on the walls, there is new crown molding downstairs, new carpet upstairs, molding and door trim. The upstairs of the house looks amazing (what a difference a little color can do!) Next will come the kitchen and the hard-wood floors down stairs.
We also had some visitors, G+G Goebert were in town visiting for a week also. It was lots of fun having them in town. Grandpa Goebert finally meet Adrian which was very exciting! and of course Sofia was very excited to have them here, she wore them out!
Sofia started school a couple of weeks ago and she is adjusting just fine. The first day was very hard for both Eddie and I. It was really hard walking away while she cried and all we could do was hold back tears. She did wonderful, is making friends and she really enjoys it. Mommy is also really enjoying having a few hours with just the baby even though I miss my princess. What a big girl Sofia is now, she is so independent!
Adrian...our little man is growing so quickly!
Took him for his 4 month well check a couple of weeks ago, doing just fine! Other than the doctor found a heart murmur and suggested that we take him to a cardiologist just so he could get a better look at it. When I heard Cardiologist my heart dropped but the Pedi assured me that it was nothing to be worried about. Just yesterday after waiting for two weeks we finally had the appoitment with the Cardiologist, they did a EKG and a Ultrasound and THANK GOD everthing is fine!
He does have the heart murmur but Dr said that he might grown out of it but it is nothing to worry about. His little heart is doing just fine, growing fine and he also said that we have a handsome little man which we already knew ; ) Aside from that Adrian is growing just fine he weigned in at 13.6 yesterday 24 inches long we have also started him on solids which he is loving! He eats like a champ, his Pedi told us that starting him on solids was to teach him how to eat not necessarily to nourish him but I tell you he eats like he's been doing since the day he was born. He hardly spits anything out and is just loving everything we give him. He loves carrots, sweet potatoes, not the squash or green beans so much but loves sweet peas and of course he is loving all the fruit. He is so alert, so happy always smiling, is starting to laugh out loud. He also loves his big sister. I love to watch him when she comes home from school cause he starts glowing when she walks in the door. He really loves her and missed her when she is not around. I have a feeling that they are going to be really close when they get older. They love each other so much!
So excited about the upcoming months, summer is just around the corner which means that we will be enjoying the pool soon. Can't wait to take Adrian in the pool for the first time and sure he will like it as much as he loves bath time. We also will be baptising Adrian on May 2nd and we are really looking forward to that.
